Our Services

Swedish Massage

Use of long gliding strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscle. It is used to promote general relaxation, improve circulation and range of motion as well as relieve tension in the muscles.

Deep Tissue

Used to release chronic muscle tension using slow deep pressure or friction to address the deeper layers of muscles. Very little lotion or oil, if any, is used in order to create a deeper friction.

Corrective Medical Massage

The combination of a variety of modalities are used to focus the treatment based on the specific condition for which you are being seen.

Myofascial Release

A highly specialized stretching technique used to treat a variety of soft tissue problems. A gentle sustained pressure that stretches the fascia (the thin tissue that covers every muscle and every fiber within each muscle), is applied to a tight area and held until the tissue relaxes and then the stretch is increased until the area is fully relaxed.

Hot Stone Massage

If you like deep heat, you will love this treatment. Your therapeutic massage is combined with carefully selected oils that are applied to the skin with the use of heated smooth river stones, positioned in the palms of the therapist's hands. Additional heated stones are placed on several areas over your body, resulting in a deep penetrating heat that causes the deeper connective tissue to soften much faster.

Reflexology

The application of pressure to specific "reflex points" on or around the feet and hands which are believed to correspond to other parts of the body.

Pregnancy Massage

During pregnancy, a woman endures a variety of discomforts including backaches, swollen ankles, heartburn, sciatica, fatigue, headaches and varicose veins. Massage can provide relief of these symptoms. Our therapists use the pregnancy cushion which is a complete cushion system designed to allow the woman to lay comfortably in a face down position while totally supporting her pregnant belly; thus allowing the therapist to easily address her low back. Our pregnancy massage is a must for easing the stresses while carrying your precious cargo.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD is a highly specialized technique which enhances the lymphatic system by stimulating the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. MLD also enhances the immune system. This type of massage is a very light, repetitive motion. The gentle, rhythmic, pumping massage movements follow the direction of lymph flow circulating through the body. This technique is highly effective for relieving the retention or blockage of fluid from filtering properly. Used for post cancer patients who have had lymph nodes damaged or removed and risk swelling from lymph fluid not being able to progress through the body on its own. Also great for pre- and post- surgical procedures, especially orthopedic or pre- and post- cosmetic surgery, to help reduce swelling and minimize scar tissue or fibrosis.

Hydrotherapy

Relax in our hydrotherapy tub equipped with powerful jets to warm and soften tight sore muscles either by itself or in combination with your massage in the adjacent therapy room.
